Tulips adorn Piet Heinkade

Time for Tulips: from 1. April to 14. May 2017 Amsterdam celebrates the Tulip Festival for the 3rd time.A ribbon of tens of thousands of tulips graces the entrance to the city from the Central Station, Damrak, Dam and Rokin. Tulips are seen everywhere you go: from North to South and from East to West. There is a guide with maps that leads you along more than 60 tulips-locations in Amsterdam.
Streets and squares, parks and flower beds
In Amsterdam a total of nearly 500.000 tulips can be admired between April and May. Hundreds of varieties in all colours adorn streets and squares and enliven beds and parks. Hotels and museums will open their specially designed tulip gardens to visitors. Also in front of Passenger Terminal Amsterdam, Mövenpick Hotel Amsterdam City Center and the Music Hall at the IJ, the tulip will be seen in front of the entrance.
